Thomas is Managing Director of Impact Environmental Consulting (IEC), having joined the company in 2013. He has extensive experience across waste management projects nationwide, and brings a strong understanding of technical, regulatory and community aspects and dynamics.
From grant management and landfill closures to targeted training, Thomas is a versatile waste specialist who balances grassroots needs with strategic state and federal outcomes. He has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Education from the University of Newcastle.
Thomas plays a key role in the planning and delivery of the Coffs Harbour Waste Conference.
Connie has worked with IEC since 2011 as Conference Director for the Coffs Harbour Waste Conference. She brings over 25 years of experience spanning marketing, event management and senior leadership, bringing a wealth of knowledge, expertise and professionalism to all aspects of the event.
While the planning and delivery of the Coffs Waste Conference is her primary focus, Connie also assists other organisations with event management through her business Flametree Marketing and Events. She has a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Marketing and Management from the University of Wollongong
Amelia joined Impact Environmental Consulting in 2024 as Conference and Events Manager for the Coffs Waste Conference. Before moving to Australia in 2018, she held senior events management roles with leading New Zealand and Australasian membership organisations.
Also an internationally certified Baby and Child Sleep Consultant, Amelia divides her time between her own sleep consultancy business and Impact Environmental. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Canterbury and a Graduate Diploma in Event Management from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
Kate joined the Impact Environmental team in 2022 as a Conference Assistant supporting the delivery of the Coffs Waste Conference.
With a strong background in event management and administration, Kate has worked across local government, not-for-profit organisations, community groups and local businesses. She has a Bachelor of Business in Convention and Events Management from Southern Cross University.
